Spiritual Odyssey: Reinterpreting Einstein’s Equation as a Spiritual Mantra
Abstract:
Sankar Sarkar’s Spiritual Odyssey is a bold interdisciplinary work that re-imagines Albert Einstein’s equation E = mc² not simply as a foundation of modern drugs but as a spiritual conceit for mortal actuality. The book’s islands of wisdom, gospel, and literature propose that energy, mass, and light emblematize spirit, body, and knowledge. This composition critically examines Sarkar’s frame, situating it within relative discourses with Einstein, Carl Jung, Sri Aurobindo, Fritjof Capra, Rabindranath Tagore and relation to the French philosophy. It explores how Spiritual Odyssey contributes to debates on the elaboration of knowledge, the dialogue between wisdom and church, and the moral challenges of technological progress. The composition argues that Sarkar’s originality lies in transubstantiating a scientific formula into a structural conceit for being, offering a new paradigm for global intellectual converse.
