Checklist for Authors

Before submitting your manuscript to IJHRSSS, confirm that the following requirements are met:

Originality and Plagiarism

The manuscript is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration elsewhere.

All sources, including the author’s own prior work, are properly cited to avoid plagiarism or self-plagiarism.

The manuscript has been checked using plagiarism detection software (if available) to ensure authenticity.

Alignment with Journal Scope

The manuscript aligns with IJHRSSS’s focus on human research and social sciences (e.g., sociology, psychology, anthropology, or interdisciplinary studies).

The content contributes novel insights, theoretical advancements, or practical implications to the field.

Manuscript Formatting

The manuscript adheres to IJHRSSS’s Author Guidelines available on ijhrsss.com.

The document is prepared in Microsoft Word or a compatible format (.doc, .docx).

The text is double-spaced, uses a 12-point font (preferably Times New Roman), and includes page numbers.

The manuscript length complies with journal limits (e.g., 4,000–8,000 words for articles, excluding references, unless otherwise specified).

Figures, tables, and images (if any) are embedded in the text with captions and cited appropriately.

Title Page and Anonymization

A separate title page includes the manuscript title, author names, affiliations, contact details, and acknowledgments (if any).

The main manuscript file is anonymized for double-blind peer review, with no identifying information (e.g., author names, institutional affiliations) in the text or file metadata.

Any references to the author’s own work are written in the third person to maintain anonymity.

Abstract and Keywords

An abstract of 150–250 words summarizing the study’s purpose, methods, findings, and implications is included.

4–6 relevant keywords are provided to enhance discoverability.

References

All citations follow the journal’s preferred style (e.g., APA, MLA, or Chicago, as specified in the Author Guidelines).

The reference list is complete, accurate, and formatted consistently.

All in-text citations have corresponding entries in the reference list, and vice versa.

Ethical Compliance

The research complies with ethical standards, including informed consent, confidentiality, and ethical treatment of participants (if applicable).

Any ethical approvals (e.g., from an Institutional Review Board) are documented and mentioned in the manuscript.

Conflicts of interest, funding sources, or other relevant disclosures are declared in the title page or acknowledgments.

Supplementary Materials

Supplementary files (e.g., datasets, appendices, or additional figures) are clearly labeled and submitted as separate files, if applicable.

Permissions for any copyrighted material (e.g., images, excerpts) are obtained and documented.

Language and Clarity

The manuscript is written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English.

The text has been proofread or edited by a professional or native speaker (if English is not the author’s first language).

Technical terms, abbreviations, and acronyms are defined upon first use.

Submission Process

The manuscript and all required files (e.g., title page, main document, supplementary materials) are prepared for upload via the online submission portal at ijhrsss.com.

The corresponding author’s contact details, including a valid email address, are provided for communication.

A cover letter (optional but recommended) is included, briefly explaining the manuscript’s significance and confirming adherence to IJHRSSS policies.
