Abstract

Teachers and parents have a very important role in developing students' talents and interests. Therefore, researchers want to examine strategies for developing students' interests and talents through the role of teachers and parents at Mis Fathul Munir Ternate This research was used a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. There were 10 research subjects, including 1 principal for data triangulation and 3 teachers and 6 students as research respondents. This research was conducted at MIS FATHUL MUNIR Ternate City on 5th October until 1st December 2023. Data collection techniques in the research used observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman data analysis model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, triangulation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the role of teachers and parents is important in developing students' interests and talents. Sometimes students don't know what they like so that the potential hidden within them is not explored.
